Mariah Carey - "I Still Believe" : Video and Lyric

If you want to sing this song while watching the performance of Mariah Carey, just read the lyric below:

No, oh No.... Yeah, Yeah ... oh..
You look in my eyes and I get emotional inside
I know it’s crazy, but you still can touch my heart

And after all this time you think that I wouldn’t feel the same
But time melts into nothing, and nothing's changed

I still believe
Someday you and me
Will find ourselves
In love again

I had a dream
Someday you and me
Will find ourselves
In love again

Each day of my life, I’m filled with all the joy I could find
You know that I,I'm not the desperate type
If there’s one spark of hope left in my grasp, I'm holding it with both
hands
It’s worth the risk of burning, to have a second chance

No, no, no, no, no, no, I need you, baby
I still believe that we can be together, no…
If we believe that true love never has to end
Then we must know that we will love again, Mmm..

I still believe
Someday you and me
Will find ourselves
In love again (Oh, baby, yeah)

I had a dream
You and me
Will find ourselves
In love again

I still believe (Ooh, baby, I do)
Someday you and me (Just give me one more try)
In love again

I had a dream (I miss your love)
Someday you and me
Will find ourselves
In love again

I still believe
Someday you and me(will find ourselves in love...)

Mariah Carey - My All ; Video and lyric

Song Lyric
Title: My All
Singer : Mariah Carey

I am thinking of you
In my sleepless solitude tonight
If it's wrong to love you
Then my heart just won't let me be right
'Cause I've drowned in you
And I won't pull through
Without you by my side

[Chorus:]
I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight

Baby can you feel me
Imagining I'm looking in your eyes
I can see you clearly
Vividly emblazoned in my mind
And yet you're so far
Like a distant star
I'm wishing on tonight

[Chorus]

Give my all for your love
Tonight

Nice Song: - Mariah carey - HERO

Song Lyric
Title : HERO
Singer : Mariah carey
-----------------------------------------

There's a hero if you look inside your heart
You don't have to be afraid of what you are.
There's an answer if you reach into your soul
and the sorrow that you know will melt away

And then a hero comes along
with the strength to carry on
and you cast your fears aside
and you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that a hero lies in you.

It's a long road when you face the world alone;
No one reaches out a hand for you to hold.
You can find love if you search within your self
and the emptiness you felt will disappear.

And then a hero comes along
with the strength to carry on
and you cast your fears aside
and you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that a hero lies in you.

oh....Lord knows dreams are hard to follow,
But don't let anyone tear them away.
Just Hold on, there will be tomorrow,
In time you'll find the way

And then a hero comes along
with the strength to carry on
and you cast your fears aside
and you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that a hero lies in you
that a hero lies in ... you
mmmm that a hero lies in.....you.

Song Lyric
Title: All I Want For Christmas Is You
Singer: Mariah Carey
--------------------------------------
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is...
You

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You baby

I won't ask for much this Christmas
I don't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeers click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
Ooh baby
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me...

Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see my baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is...
You

All I want for Christmas is you... baby (repeat and fade)

Title: WITHOUT YOU
Singer : MARIAH CAREY

No I cant forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess thats just the way
The story goes
You always smile but in your eyes
Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows
No I cant forget tomorrow
When I think of all my sorrow
When I had you there
But then I let you go
And now its only fair
That I should let you know
What you should know

I cant live
If living is without you
I cant live
I cant give anymore
I cant live
If living is without you
I cant give
I cant give anymore

Well I cant forget this evening
Or your face as you were leaving
But I guess thats just the way
The story goes
You always smile but in your eyes
Your sorrow shows
Yes it shows

I cant live
If living is without you
I cant live
I cant give any more
I cant live
If living is without you
I cant give
I cant give anymore

Perfect Symmetry

Perfect Symmetry

This is a very fine album by a group that can probably turn out very fine music without trying very hard, and if you catch a bit of criticism there, well, it is just because I know that Very Good is not quite as good as they can deliver. I expect a lot of these guys, as I know they can give it. I definitely found much to love in this album--I applaud them their experimentation, the desire to stretch themselves musically--I think that this desire will keep them a viable band for a much longer time than simply repeating the formula of their first album.

The songwriting is good, and the melodies are strong and interesting. Even so, there are some definite missteps here: Tom's voice sounds strained at times, the 80's instrumentation on the first half of the album does not work completely, and the decreased emphasis on the piano may not be their absolute best idea ever, but repeat listens prove even the missteps have their charm. This album is definitely not for those who love only the first album. This album is also not for someone looking for a clone of Under the Iron Sea. This is an excellent album for the fan who is committed to following the band develop over time, who believe in the power of these guys to move them emotionally. If you approach this album with an open mind and a willing ear, you will not be disappointed and you may find some moments to genuinely love.

Every Breath You Take : The Classics

Every Breath You Take : The Classics

The Police are a great, classic band like many of the others. But what makes them different is the dark, repetitive vocals along with the haunting music. Some of the songs such as "Spirits In The Material World" and "Invisible Sun" have real catchy music. "Can't Stand Losing You" and "Message In A Bottle" have repetitive but catchy lyrics. And others such as "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and "Every Breath You Take" are examples of songs that are almost perfect in any way.

I grew up listening to The Police, but only in the past year did I really know who they were, and I started listening more. The first thing I noticed is that The Police might have some of the strangest lyrics of any group or artist, but I can't think of ANY songs that are more catchy. I'll hear a song on the radio or play one of my cd's and it might be stuck in my head for an hour at the most. But when a Police song gets stuck in my head, it stays there the rest of the day no matter what I do.

I recommend this album to anyone. It's just too bad that The Police didn't stay together long enough to make some more great, catchy songs and more classics like "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "Every Breath You Take," and "Wrapped Around Your Finger."

Skeletal Lamping

Skeletal Lamping

Let me first say that if you were to put this cd in and play it from start to finish, you will really have no idea where the songs start and where they finish. Just when you think there's an "actual" song, it will completely change tempo and key for the last 50 seconds. Such is the way of the new album, and like it or not, "Georgie Fruit" is in full-effect.

If you weren't a fan of "Hissing Fauna..." then I'm not sure you'd be into this album, but it's still worth a listen.

My one major grip with the record is the opener. It starts out fine and dandy for 2:05 seconds, but then it turns into a mess of dissonant chords and pretty much just awful noise... which would be tolerable for about 15 seconds, but instead it continues and intensifies for a FULL THREE MINUTES! If anything, that should be saved for the last song on the disc, but instead they make a terrible decision to start of the album that way. If I wasn't already an Of Montreal fan, I would've shut off the album immediately and probably wouldn't go back, which is unfortunate as I would've missed a lot.

While the songs are scatterbrained, there are plenty of psych-pop hooks and overdubbed vocals sprinkled throughout to keep you entertained. The song Wicked Wisdom starts out nice and funky, and doesn't disappoint through all the in-song changes. Even when the track slows down, the dynamic shift is quite memorable.

My favorite track is "An Eluardian Instance", as I am a big fan of the 'Satanic Panic...' and 'Sunlandic Twins...' albums, and this is the closest they come to that sound on this album. Great track.

Other highlight tracks are "Gallery Piece", with its poppy yet daring vocal melody and "St. Exquisite's Confessions", which features some great lyrics against a nice soft and easy tempo.

There are a few other great tracks here besides what I mentioned, so it's definitely worth a buy!

Alicia Keys - If I aint got You

this song is very lovely... everything means nothing if i have you baby

Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again

This video gives a reality check. How often do we take our loved ones for granted. Although he didn't die in the video, he almost did. Always remember to say how much you love, because you may never get the chance again

Alicia Keys - No One

louie louie - sitting in the lap of luxury, type this in search engine for this song of 98, This guy sounds like "Stevie Wonder". I dont know why he didn't become as famous as his talent could of made him. His voice sounds better than even R Kelly.

All I Intended to Be : by Emmylou Harris

All I Intended to Be

Until very recently, no one expected something "new" from an artist. He/she did what he/she did, and, over time, with work and talent and increasing mastery, the art got better and better. But it didn't get "different" and there was no expectation of novelty --- no one wrote about "Bleak House" that Dickens had failed to make a stylistic leap over "David Copperfield".

Emmylou Harris is an Old School musician in many ways, but especially in this --- she's plowed the same field for almost all her career. There have been modest detours, but nothing requiring her to change her hair or buy a drum machine. She just sings American Roots music, straight ahead and unadorned.

American Roots music isn't country, pop or rock, though it's not ashamed to borrow from those styles. It's not bluegrass, gospel, folk or Cajun, though there are elements. To its practitioners, it's the authentic heart of the heartland, songs that could only come from here, sounds that remind us who we are. Soul music, if you will.

Emmylou Harris is the high priestess of this music, and on her 21st release she does it as well as anyone ever will. To those who do not worship at her shrine or listen only casually to her music, it may sound like just another Emmylou Harris record: that exquisite voice, evocative lyrics, flawless instrumentation and angelic harmonies. Yes, it is, and "Great Expectations" is just another Dickens novel.

In today's lost and destructive music business, it takes ferocious courage and massive self-assurance to put out a record of quiet beauty and then to put a title like "All I Intended to Be" on it. That's a statement, a stake in the ground --- Emmylou Harris may seem uncommonly modest and self-effacing, but this is her "My Way".

These songs were recorded over four years. The producer was Brian Ahern, her former husband and collaborator on her first 11 albums. The musicians may be well-known to music fans --- the singers include Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Buddy Miller and the McGarrigle Sisters --- but there are an equal number of lesser-known singers and musicians who appear simply because they're dear to Emmylou. And the songs? "I've always seen myself as a relentless song-finder, a singer of other people's work whom I admire greatly, and an occasional songwriter," she says, putting herself last and least, as is her custom.

The songwriters are at once venerable and esoteric: Billy Joe Shaver, Merle Haggard, Patty Griffin, Mark Germino, Jack Wesley Routh. The song you probably know is by Tracy Chapman: "All That You Have Is Your Soul." That could easily have been the title of this CD. It is certainly the theme.

Detours : by Sheryl Crow

Detours

The lyric is availabe below:

Review : By Rudy Palma "The Writing Fiend"
If 2002's sun-drenched "Come On, Come On" found a nail-biting Sheryl Crow unsure of her position as pop tunesmith or serious singer/songwriter, 2005's "Wildflower" - her "art" record as she dubbed it - certified she could straddle the line without compromise.

She continues that progression with the aptly-titled "Detours," sifting through a myriad of topics like her breast cancer battle, broken engagement to Lance Armstrong and adoption of a baby boy. She may have been sidetracked, but she embraces the rhythm of life, an artist true to form.

Crow reunites with Bill Bottrell, producer of her 1993 debut "Tuesday Night Music Club," and the results are compelling and thoroughly listenable. Lo-fi opener "God Bless This Mess" is wall-to-wall Crow, reiterating the song's title line despite hazy post 9/11 life, while the jaunty radio-ready rock of the futuristic blue-collar anthem "Gasoline" and bouncy single "Love Is Free" keep the pace.

She bares her soul on "Make It Go Away (Radiation Song)" and delivers a high-octane rocker in the politically conscious "Shine Over Babylon," but the revelatory title track and cheery, swashbuckling "Out of Our Heads" keep the colors from running too dark.

In spite of life's hardships she finds comfort in "Peace Be Upon Us" and the gorgeous "Love Is All There Is" without a trace of sap left on her fingers, while perfect closer "Lullaby For Wyatt" finds Crow fully aware of the trials of motherhood as she tenderly croons "you're mine...for a time."

Crow is a rare flower of a talent in an entertainment industry full of weeds and flash-in-the-pans, but she is not fragile. Transforming the personal into the universal, she has the rare power to make listeners consider not just themselves but the ambiguous world they live in and keep things entertaining and fresh all the while.

Song Lyric:Detours

Mother can you hold me together

It's so dark and I'm losing my way

It took all of these detours to find love

But when I did it just faded away

Now what do I do with this sweet love of mine

Do I give it away, and hope someday I'll find

Someone half as awake as the moon and the stars

Mother teach me to love
With a paper thin heart

Mother your words are so healing

You speak of love, and of light, and of peace

But I've made it my course to avoid you
Just to hide from these feelings of grief

Now what do I do with this sweet love of mine

Do I give it away, and hope someday I'll find

Someone half as awake as the moon and the stars

Mother teach me to love
With a paper thin heart

Now what do I do with this sweet love of mine

Do I give it away, and hope someday I'll find

Someone half as awake as the moon and the stars

Mother teach me to love
With a paper thin heart

Mother, I know you are with me
You were there when I took my first breath
I can't stop looking back for the answers
I just keep coming up with regret
There are some things I just can't forget

The Video and Lyric of Jewel - Perfectly Clear (Full album version)

The Lyric : Perfectly Clear
Singer : Jewel

The doorway frames you
a picture perfect silhouette,
blue sky of regret
enough to hang you
Your legs seem to tremble
At least I imagine that they do
Then again, it's probably easy for you

But please, don't open your mouth, my dear
I can read all the signs
I can take it from here
There's no need to explain,
It's perfectly clear

Yellow wallpaper peels makes
a strange halo around your head
It's funny how I notice
These stupid things instead
You say something awkward
But I wish that you wouldn't
A whole life of You wish you could's
but just couldn'ts

But please, don't open your mouth, my dear
I can read all the signs
I can take it from here
There's no need to explain,
It's perfectly clear

So I try not to think to much
it only just makes me mad,
Spent half my life loving you
Think of all the love that I could've had

Five years worth of kisses
Are packed in your bags
This tiny moment fits
All the big things we ever had
And I can't quite pinpoint
When it left or what for
Love always steps lightly
Away from the door

Please, don't open your mouth, my dear
I can read all the signs,
I can take it from here
There's no need to explain,
No, there's no need to explain,
It's perfectly clear

The Favorite Song on October 2008 : Ungu - Dengan Nafasmu

This is the very popular song by Ungu in Indonesia. Almost all the people in Indonesia know and like this song. The lyric is as follws:

Title : DENGAN NAFASMU
Izinkan ku ucap kata taubat
Sebelum Kau memanggilku
kembali pada-Mu, menutup waktuku

Izinkan ku serukan nama-Mu
Sebelum nyawa dalam tubuhku
Kau ambil, kembali pada-MU

Karna ku tahu, hanyalah pada diri-Mu
Tempatku mengadu, tempatku mengeluh
Di dalam do’aku

Dan demi nafas yang telah kau hembuskan dalam kehidupanku
Ku berjanji, ku akan menjadi yang terbaik
Menjalankan segala perintah-Mu, menjauhi segala larangan-Mu
adalah sebaris do’a ku untuk-Mu

Mengapa begini apa yang terjadi

Tak pernah sebelumnya
Tak pernah ku duga

Reff:

Ku akui ku main hati (ku main hati 2x)
Ku tak bisa tuk memungkiri
Ku main hati

Bersamamu ku rasakan
Yang tak pernah kurasakan sebelumnya
Pencarianku berakhir
Karna ku tlah temukan dirimu

Perfectly Clear: by by Jewel

Perfectly Clear

Popular folk singer/songwriter Jewel tries something old for her new album, and comes up country fresh and honey sweet. The tracks are like Carrie Underwood channeling The Carpenters for a perfect blend of vintage country with pop and folk.

The lead single is "Stronger Woman", an anthem for women everywhere who are being taken for granted by the men in their lives. Her advice?

"I'm gonna love myself more than anyone else
Believe in me, even if someone can't see
A stronger woman in me"

She follows up with "I Do", which is a song about making a commitment to the person you love. I really like the clever lyrics, and chorus, "'Cause love is a game until it's played / And if it's lost, it can't ever be saved."

For some old-fashioned country violins and stuff, try "Love is a Garden" (a track with a little Shania Twain edge); "Anyone But You"; "Thump Thump" ; "'Til it Feels Like Cheating" (pure country); "Everything Reminds Me of You"; "Love By You (Cowboy Waltz)" (a bit of yodeling here) and "Perfectly Clear"

My son likes "Rosey and Mick", which has a chorus that reminds me of The Carpenters, and I also like "Two Become One" which is very familiar, but I can't recall the song it reminds me of right now. (Maybe "Islands in the Stream" by Kenny and Dolly, combined with "Love Doesn't Ask Why" by Celine Dion)

I prefer Jewel as a folk singer, but I appreciate her experimenting with a variety of styles. This is a very good country album by any standards.

Love On The Inside

Love On The Inside

The cover of Life in a Northern Town gives me chills, it is so laced with passion and intensity! Love the Matt Nathanson Come on Get Higher cover that is on it too, it is positivly smothered with sensuality! Makes me think of old love one second, and the pureness of new love the next! I play these two songs over and over, and though I love the CD-all of it...these two songs-I love!
