I'm not a big fan of Mariah Carey's. There have always been a few songs of hers that I've enjoyed however, and that's what makes this collection perfect for me and others like me. I resisted buying her other greatest hits collection #1's because I thought it was lacking a few good newer songs. Thankfully this set does a much more through job at covering her musical highlights, and includes all the songs I want to have (including such newer releases as 'Honey', 'Always Be My Baby' and 'Heartbreaker'), but also includes too many songs that I never want to hear again (like 'When You Believe' and 'Hero'). Another gripe, the booklet is skimpy. When will producers learn that a greatest hits booklet needs to give info on the songs release date, chart listing and other info? All we get here are tiny pictures of the single release covers. Still, for people with a casual interest in Mariah like myself, you can't really go wrong with this set and it's sure to be the only Carey cd you'll need to buy.
